2025 Annual Report: About the Foundation
At the Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation, we believe that every child deserves the chance to thrive at school—regardless of their circumstances. Founded to support students within the Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB), the Foundation provides the essentials that help children focus, learn, and fully participate in school life.
Through the generosity of our donors and the success of our signature fundraising events, we are able to respond directly to the needs of children and families across Durham Region. Working closely with DCDSB schools, we ensure that support reaches those who need it most—whether it’s school supplies, clothing, or enrichment opportunities that open doors to new experiences.
By meeting these basic needs, we give students the freedom to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. Every contribution is a step toward hope, opportunity, and a brighter future for children in our Catholic community.
