2025 Annual Report: Fundraising Highlights
Since its inception, the Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation has raised a total of $843,662, helping students across the Durham Catholic District School Board access the essentials they need to thrive.
The following are some of the highlights from 2025:
Durham Catholic Children's Foundation Gala
On April 23, 2025, we celebrated the 11th Annual Gala, honouring our Distinguished Catholic Alumni Award recipients. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and attendees, we raised approximately $32,000 - funds that provide much-needed support to students and families across Durham Region.
#ForTheKids Golf Classic
On August 19, 2025, the 10th Annual #ForTheKids Golf Classic took place at Deer Creek Golf Course. With incredible support from participants, sponsors, and volunteers, the event raised $40,172.72, enabling the Foundation to continue providing essential resources to students in need.
DCDSB Student Walk for Hope
Throughout May and June, our amazing students, families, and staff participated in the Walk for Hope, raising $12,275. These contributions help ensure that students have access to the basic necessities that allow them to fully engage in school life and reach their full potential.

Giving Tuesday
On December 2, 2025, our community came together for Giving Tuesday, donating through School Cash Online and the Foundation website. Together, we raised $5,000, supporting essential resources such as food, clothing, and emergency assistance for families in need, while also funding school activities like field trips and extracurricular programs.
Every donation, large or small, contributes to hope, opportunity, and the success of our students. We are deeply grateful to our donors, volunteers, and the DCDSB community for their continued generosity and support.
