The Durham Catholic Children's Foundation was established by the staff of the Durham Catholic District School Board who knew there were families in our communities who needed assistance in various ways.  They recognized the need and began to address it with the generosity of the Durham Catholic community.  I hope to continue that generosity with the work of the Foundation.  Working to help our local families where needed, so students focus on school, reminds me of the saying "charity begins at home."
